Dear World, can you believe that at the time i'm writing this, i am 7 months old? things have been going great. i've started eating real foods and especially love apples with blueberries and squash too (but not together). prunes are fun, because they are so messy. i'm not so sure about mangos yet, they have a weird taste and texture. i have been going to swimming lessons with papa. i can even go underwater. its fun to float around. i'm happy the weather is so nice. i will have papa put some swimming lesson pictures and video up soon. we have a lot of fun and i've been learning some new songs to splash to. and then, the other day we went to my friend ava's second birthday party at the park. mama and papa's friend paul took some pictures of us together. Grandma Mimi was just in town for a visit. We had a great time laughing and playing and discovering our hands. Lots of fun indeed. Cousin Rachel had a graduation party and it was a blast.

Emi was born on Sunday, February 24th at 5:03am in Santa Cruz, California. She is a happy, healthy baby girl and we couldn't be more excited. We're doing great and just returned home from the hospital to begin settling in to our new life together.
